Cameron Ticey aka Miranda Rites Ticey is 31 years old. Formerly he was Mr NMGRA 2020-21 and Mr IGRA 1st Runner Up 2022. As a kid, Miranda did youth rodeos in a small town called Moriarty. Her favorite events were barrel racing and calf roping. With a history in rodeo and high school theater programs, Miranda discoveries a new home with the IGRA in 2017, shortly after starting a new career in drag.
Cameron ran for NMGRA in 2019, becoming New Mexico's first transgender Mr. As an advocate for trans rights and representation, this was a big step. The firsts carried on to IGRA where he became the 1st transgender Mr IGRA 1st Runner Up. His wife, Luna Starr, has been his biggest supporter. He lists Dolly Parton as his biggest idol, not only for her talent but also for her drive to help make the world a better place.
Miranda Rites Ticey wants to be a positive example for new and upcoming generations of cowgirls and cowboys finding their place in the world.
