Luna Starr is a 25-year-old woman who was born in Torrence, California, and lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from when they were 4 years old until July of 2022 when they moved to Chandler with their husband Cameron. They got their start with the rodeo when Cameron introduced them in 2019. Since that point, they've been hooked. Their favorite rodeo was in Denver, Colorado, where they competed for the first time in Goat Dressing. It was their favorite event, so far, because they liked the teamwork that goes into it.
They got their start in performing in high school, when they did musical theater for a small local young actors guild in Albuquerque. Their favorite of these productions being The Music Man. When they turned 21, they were introduced to the drag scene. Since then, they've been performing and have been hooked. Luna identifies as a gender fluid person, going by she/they pronouns.
Luna Starr wants to make a difference in the community, meeting so many people who have inspired them to be their best self. She wants to let more people know about what the rodeo does, shining light onto a community that gives back so much to those who need it most
