IGRA Rodeo Event Photo Contest
IGRA is holding a contest for photos of IGRA rodeo events to be used on our website.

Overview
- Deadline for submissions is July 5, 2008
- You do not have to be a member of an IGRA association to submit photos
- Twelve different images from each of the thirteen IGRA rodeo events will be selected as finalists
- We are looking for high quality realistic images, not images electronically modified using artistic effects
- Images which appear to be overly stressful on the animals will not be used (see Animal Issues)
- Credit to the photographer will be marked on each photo
- The IGRA Webmaster will select the twelve best images for each event
- The IGRA Board will vote between thoes to determin the best in each event
- The IGRA Board will then vote for the best image from the thirteen finalists
- All decisions by the judges are final
- Winners will be announced during the first week in August
- It is possible that more than one image from a singe entrant may be chosen as a finalist; however, only one prize will be awarded to any single photographer
- One grand prize of $200.00 will be awarded for the best overall image
- Twelve second place prizes (to be determined) will be awarded, one for the best image in each of the remaining events
Photo Requirements
- Photos of events must include enough detail to make it apparent which event is being represented
- Photos other than winners may be accepted for use in the main site index random image feature
- Images which are of poor quality, out of focus, obviously under or over exposed, or cell phone images will not be accepted
- Only high resolution files will be accepted for finalist submissions
- Final images should be submitted in full frame format without cropping
- You may retain ownership of any photos accepted for posting; however, IGRA reserves the right to use them in any way, for an indefinite period of time
- A maximum of twenty images may be submitted by a single photographer
- Submit JPG versions of your images, roughly 900 x 800 pixels, to the IGRA Webmaster via e-mail at
- If your image is selected for use, you will be contacted to submit a full resolution version
- Include your real name, a phone number and your e-mail address
- Indicate how you would like your credit to be displayed on your photos (real name, alias, website address, etc, (we reserve the right to limit text length)
- If possible include the date and rodeo where each image was taken
